Reflection

Lord, in the gospel reading the disciples announced, ‘Everybody is looking for you’.  Yet, you had the freedom to spend time alone in prayer.  Your ministry flowed from your prayer.  Help us to be people of prayer so that we can be channels of your life-giving presence to others.  May the Spirit that we receive in prayer make us generous in our service of others after the example of Paul who for the  sake of the weak made himself weak.
