The story as told by the younger classes in our schools

I was walking down the street of Bethlehem.  I stopped at a manger and saw a woman with a baby.  It was wrapped in a white blanket.  She was singing to her baby.  Then three men came to give gifts to the baby.  One man gave frankincense, one gave gold and the other gave myrrh.

It was my first time in Bethlehem, the town was full.  The soldiers  are there talking to the two others.  I went over to them they looked at me.  They had lost the king he was not in a palace he was in a stable.

Mary and Joseph went to Bethlehem.  They donkey was slow.  Mary and Joseph were hungry, they donkey and the sheep were hungry.  Baby Jesus liked Mary and Joseph.  The three wise King's came to the baby Jesus.

Mary and Joseph are going to a stable in Bethlehem.  Baby Jesus was born, in the stable.  Mary and Joseph were tired.  The donkey is tired too.
